Golden Eaglet Head Coach Manu Garba has said his team is ready to battle Netherland in the round of 16 of the ongoing youth World Cup tournament in Brazil.
Nigeria was emerged early morning of today after conclusion of all the group matches as the team to face Netherland after group B final game played Friday.
The fixtures pitched Nigeria, group B winners against any of the third placed teams in group A, C and D.
In a telephone chat with www.realsportscast24.co.uk today, Garba stated that his team will always take every of their opponent and games serious.
According to him, “Netherland maybe one of the weaken team in this tournament but I don’t think its true because every game is a step by step. The team might see us and wake up from their slumber.
“The important of it all is that my boys are ready and will not underrate of their opponent. They have to play every game like the first match.
“Netherland is a strong side otherwise they would have gone home long before now but we are not looking at that, we will keep focus and determine to justify our selves by reaching the finals.
“We are not here for a jamboree, our history in the youth game is a stake so we must do everything within our reach to protect and return home with the Trophy,” Manu said.
