Super Eagles Central Midfielder Ramon Azeez has said that his return to the national team is not an easy journey for him.
Granada CF player returned to the national team after five years and will made his first debut against Lesotho on Sunday.
In an interview with cafonline.com, Azeez confessed that “First of all I have to give thank to God because it is not an easy journey for me after five years to be back here again I think I have put in a lot of work and now is the right time for me that if I have any opportunity I will have to grab it will all my ten foot,” he said.
Speaking in his current form in La-Liga league Azeez revealed, I think it is my dedication, focus and humbleness are the motivation around me. Playing in La-Liga is not new for me because I have played there 2013/14/15 coming back is not new to me and playing alongside Messi and Ronaldo is not something new to me as well. It is something i am use to and no one will take away the experience from me but now it is one of the most thing that has been helping me.
He further expressed his excitement,“I fell happy to see everyone here you know national team is not a club side where you stay for a long time. National team is where players comes and go because it called a national team. Today you maybe here and tomorrow you may not but for now I feel grate to be among the grate team both young and new.
Azeez also stated that no player is a threat to his position, adding that every player is important in the team.
“ I don’t think towards that for now. We are here to do the job together and not to think who is a threat or not our job is to play, win and make the country proud always,” Ramon Azeez said.
